Our family business, established over 80 years ago, has provided a complete funeral directing service throughout the North-East of England for over 30 years. We provide a caring, personal and professional service with the highest attention to detail and are privileged to assist any bereaved family with free advice to help them decide upon the most appropriate arrangement to suit their needs.
Unlike what may appear to be the case with the majority of today’s High Street funeral practices, we are proud to remain entirely independent and not part of any chain or large corporate group and as such therefore are not answerable to shareholders where add-on sales and sometimes profit may appear to be prime motivating factors.
We are able to offer a very affordable complete traditional or cremation funeral package from a genuine £3250.00, or, if burial is a preference, there would usually be the issue of grave purchase.
We can offer an entirely bespoke service and can tailor an arrangement exactly to meet your needs.
Direct Cremations
We offer direct cremations (essentially a funeral arrangement without a traditional service) using our preferred crematorium which is Northumberland Woodland Burial and Crematorium in mid-Northumberland at a cost of £1500, or more locally at any of the Tyneside facilities if preferred, which may result in a nominal additional charge.
